Welcome to the Geography Blogosphere, a space where you can present your work online and receive comments about your work.
By the end of this lesson you should have:
- created your own blog using your school Gmail account
- setup your blog so that it is private
- linked your blog to CoxGeog.blogspot.com
- begun researching information for your homework.
For homework you should:
- use your new blog to present your CSI Pompeii Crime Report
- your blog should be ready for viewing by the start of school after the half-term holiday.
When creating and using any blog you should think about 'cyber safety'. Avoid publicising personal information about yourself, especially your date of birth, address and mobile phone number. Never write negative comments about other people and report incidences of cyber bullying to a teacher.
Should you have any problems with your new Geography blog, you can email me at my school email address.
Your blog has the advantage of allowing you to use pictures, sounds and video. It is also more environmentally friendly and saves you the cost of ink and paper.
No more 'my dog ate my homework' or 'my printer ran out of ink' or 'my dog ate my printer'.
